Unfortunately it seems that politicians around the world have turned out to be some of the most moronic humans on the planet. I think we should change our system to make all elected officials ” independent contractor” once elected and whose performance is evaluated annually by a committee of citizens from their elected area. They can be fired the same as any contractor and replaced by a second runner up or a newly elected person..
