El Paso city government spending $300,000 a day on migrant response – KVIA (kvia.com)

The El Paso city government may spend $10 million this month processing and transporting recently arrived migrants, 10 times the amount spent between 2019 and August of this year, officials said. The rising costs – now reaching $300,000 a day and expected to grow. Federal gov’t just reimbursed this poor city what it owes from 2021.
