I am finally getting married to my long time partner next June (32 years on and off – mostly on) and it’s the best feeling in the world!
We are ‘married’ in our hearts but the actual act of going through the ceremony, the license and the recognition from family and friends means a great deal to both of us now we’re settled and in our 50s.
Marriage is a wonderful thing that brings two people together in love and binds them and their families together. The one thing about it though: it should never be entered into lightly or without GOD at the center of the relationship.
