A veteran in a wheelchair shot a man who attempted to rob him at a downtown METRO station, according to Houston Police Department (HPD). The incident occurred on Monday evening at the METRO station at Pierce and Main streets, where the victim, a disabled veteran, was waiting for his ride home. The suspect approached the veteran, demanding his wallet and threatening him with a knife. The victim pulled out a gun and fired several shots.
