The new banknotes featuring the King are set to enter circulation in 2024
The Bank of England has released the first images of the new banknotes to feature a portrait of the King.
His Majesty's portrait will appear across all banknotes (£5, £10, £20 and £50) which are expected to enter circulation by mid-2024.
Governor Andrew Bailey said: “I am very proud that the Bank is releasing the design of our new banknotes which will carry a portrait of King Charles III.
"This is a significant moment, as The King is only the second monarch to feature on our banknotes. People will be able to use these new notes as they start to enter circulation in 2024.”
Meanwhile, a joke designed to whip up interest in a new commemorative coin featuring the King left most of the Royal Mint’s social media followers scratching their heads on Monday.
“You’ve heard of Elf on the Shelf. Now get ready for…” it teased alongside an image of the new coin.
“A posh on some dosh?” asked one. “King on the bling?” asked another. “Hereditary ruler on the moolah?” wrote another.
In the end, the Royal Mint was forced to step in, revealing that the correct answer was “sovereign on a sovereign”.
The original tweet generated more than 400 comments, many of them unprintable. Comments were eventually restricted.
“Well, that escalated…” acknowledged the Royal Mint. “It’s not an easy word to rhyme! Shall we do another?” The overwhelming answer was no.
“I’m not sure you have fully grasped the rhyming concept of Elf on the Shelf,” sighed one Twitter user. Another urged the organisation to “show some respect [for] a millennium of tradition and standards”.
Hannah Rose Woods, a historian and writer, wrote: “Instinctively, this isn’t how I want the Royal Mint to talk to me.
“I don’t know how to get ‘ready’ for the concept of a monarch’s face on coins. We’re already using the same word for both things. The meme only works on the basis of this having been established. It isn’t possible to understand the meme and then become more ready for its premise.”
Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas craze that started in the US. Parents buy an elf who appears in their house at the beginning of December to watch over the children on behalf of Father Christmas.
Each night when they are asleep, the elf returns to the North Pole to report back on their behaviour before reappearing in a different location the next morning.
The sovereign has become the Royal Mint’s flagship coin and its new memorial edition marks the first time it has featured the King’s official coinage portrait.
The Royal Mint tried to reclaim the narrative by explaining in a later tweet that the coin has been associated with the British monarchy since 1489.
“Henry VII demanded a ‘new money of gold’ to demonstrate the wealth and power of the new Tudor dynasty following the Battle of Bosworth,” it said.
The limited edition memorial sovereign 2022, featuring the King, is on sale for between £230 for a quarter sovereign to £2,900 for a five sovereign piece. A limited edition five-coin set costing £5,595 has already sold out.
The first coins to feature a portrait of the King entered circulation on Dec 8. His Majesty’s effigy appears on a 50p, with the reverse, or “tails” side commemorating the life and legacy of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The Pentagon has awarded a contract worth as much as $334 million to develop a new multi-purpose hypersonic air vehicle under a secretive program known as “Mayhem.”
The experimental Mayhem program is thought to be creating some kind of hypersonic aircraft capable of strikes as well as spying, also known as intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), The War Zone reported.
The first details on Mayhem emerged in 2020, according to The War Zone. Now, Virginia defense contractor Leidos has been awarded an “indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract” for research and development of Mayhem, expected to be completed by Oct. 15, 2028.
In its announcement, the Pentagon describes the goal as “a larger class air-breathing hypersonic system capable of executing multiple missions with a standardized payload interface, providing a significant technological advancement and future capability.”
Leidos’ work is to be done at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, with other potential testing sites to be determined, according to the announcement.
Why would God provide a multitude of examples where He literally fulfills His Word if He did not intend for us to take His predictions concerning our glorious future in the same way?
We can learn a lot by looking at fulfilled prophecy.
At His first coming, Jesus fulfilled forty-eight specific prophecies concerning His birth, lineage, life, death, burial, and even His resurrection.
Here are just some of the key Old Testament passages that accurately foretold the details of the Messiah’s first arrival in the world:
- Micah 5:2: Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem
- Isaiah 7:14: Jesus was born of a virgin
- Jeremiah 31:15: Herod’s murder of children in Bethlehem
- Zechariah 11:12-13: Jesus betrayed for thirty pieces of silver
- Psalm 22:16: the piercing of Jesus’ hands and feet
- Psalm 22:18: the casting of lots for Jesus’ clothing
- Psalm 16:10: Jesus’ resurrection
Let’s examine what this sampling of prophetic texts tells us:
WORDS MATTERPerhaps I’m just stating the obvious, but it’s an important point. The fulfillment of prophecy regarding Jesus’ first coming tells us that words supremely matter when God reveals the future in Scripture.
Jesus fulfilled all the details of the above sampling of prophecies just as He did with all forty-eight of them.
Matthew went to great lengths to show how Christ met the specifics of what the Old Testament prophets wrote. For example, He didn’t ride a horse or just any donkey into Jerusalem, but He rode the “foal of a donkey” just as Zechariah foretold (Zechariah 9:9; Matthew 21:2-5).
Those familiar with my writing know that I emphasize the importance of words in the prophetic texts of the Bible that pertain to the end times. A key reason for doing so comes from the pattern we see with those pertaining to Jesus’ first coming. The Lord fulfilled the precise wording of all those texts.
THE PSALMS CONTAIN PROPHECYSince the Psalms contain several references to Jesus’ first coming, then we should also expect to see passages there that pertain to many aspects of His Second Coming and reign over the nations. And that is precisely what we discover in the Psalms.
In the introduction, I included three examples of fulfilled prophecies that come from the Psalms. I did this because many in the church today dismiss its prophetic value. They do this is by teaching that the books of the Bible, such as the Psalms, are simply “records of man’s experiences with God.”
That’s wrong on so many levels. For one, it contradicts the words of 2 Timothy 3:16-17. Secondly, the Psalms tell us many things about Jesus’ future reign over the nations of the earth.
Psalms 47-48 tells of a time when the Lord will rule over the nations of the world from a gloriously restored Jerusalem. We find this same prophecy in Zechariah 14:9-21.
Psalm 2 also speaks to this time when Jesus will rule during a time when sin is still possible, which places its fulfillment during the thousand-year reign of Jesus, as we see in Revelation 20:1-10. This is the only time when the words of this Psalm can come to fruition.
Those who dismiss the words of the Psalms as merely records of “man’s experiences with God” not only greatly err in their assessment of Scripture, but also overlook an abundance of unfulfilled prophecies that breathe hope and joy into the everyday lives of believers.
WE CAN RELY ON THE INTEGRITY OF SCRIPTURE(story continues)
If we don’t pull back from the brink, the consequences could potentially be far beyond what most people could even imagine right now...

Will 2023 be a year when extremely destructive conflicts erupt all over the world? We are certainly already living in a time of “wars and rumors of wars”, and tensions are approaching the boiling point in a number of key global flashpoints right now. If several more major conflicts were to suddenly begin next year, we could potentially witness an extended period of geopolitical instability that would be unlike anything that we have ever witnessed. It is easy to start wars, but it is much harder to end them. If you doubt this, just look at what is going on in Ukraine. There is no end in sight for that conflict, and there are several other wars that could literally erupt at any time.
In this interview, Dr. Cole covered aspects of blood clotting but there are many mechanisms of harm of the spike protein, he said.
“But these things were known well before these products were put together and now we’re seeing, unfortunately … what we’re seeing, scientifically in the laboratory now, [is] the risk-benefit ratio is all on the risk side.
“If you got one shot, I’m not criticising you, don’t get another. If you got two, don’t get a third. If you’ve got three, don’t get a fourth.”
Dr. Ryan Cole joined Dr. Drew to discuss the action of spike proteins manufactured in people’s bodies after they have been vaccinated. He explained how the Covid injections’ toxic lipid nanoparticles and mRNA, which induce the body to make spike proteins, distribute through the body as well as the mechanisms that cause inflammation, micro blood clots and the fibrous blood clots post-vaccination. He also explained the mechanisms through which Covid injections cause cancer and infertility.
Dr. Ryan Cole is an Idaho pathologist who is no stranger to controversy. His claims of horrific side effects from mRNA vaccines and his recommendations of alternative treatments for Covid launched medical board investigations in multiple states, prompting the doctor to defend his license. As the owner of Cole Diagnostics, one of the largest independent diagnostics laboratories in Idaho, Dr. Cole says he has seen – and photographed – shockingly large blood clots appearing since 2021.
For patients who believe they have been injured by the injections Dr. Cole has a simple recommendation: “Sue your doctor.”
Founder of the name-it-and-claim-it ‘God Made Millionaire’ show TC Bradley says ‘I do not believe in a Broke or Anti-Prosperity Bible or Gospel.’
His website tells you all about how you can allow God to make you a millionaire, yet ironically we also read this: “For those of you, that feel you are called to be a God Made Millionaire ® and plant a $1,000 seed towards your God given dream, you will be given a private, 30 minute personal call with TC Bradley, so he can align his faith with you and your God-given dream and share his insights on activating your God given dream.” Hmm, is that how he became a millionaire? Now, who on earth would be dumb enough to fall for this? Don’t let it be you.
“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” Revelation 3:17-19 (KJB)
“For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised. Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace; And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.” 1 Corinthians 4:9-13 (KJB)
One thing that these end times deceivers have proven over and over again that there is seemingly no end to the number of Christian people who, propelled by their own innate sense of greed combined with their lack of biblical understanding, will ‘sow a $1,000 seed’ into the bank accounts of charlatans like TC Bradley. They don’t want the gospel, they want the houses, cars, land and cash these people pretend to offer them. TC Bradley is just the latest in a long line of frauds that include Todd White, Kenneth Copeland, Joel Osteen, Paula White, Joyce Meyer, Benny Hinn, and countless others too numerous to mention like TD Jakes, Creflo Dollar, Rod Parsley proceeding ad infinitum ad nauseum. If you have $1,000 to spend, give it to the work of the Lord to see lost people get saved and to get the gospel out. God will bless you if you do, but there is no blessing in giving it to TC Bradley. This fraud displays an open hostility to the gospel preached by the ‘broke apostle’ Paul, and for that reason alone, should be given no place by anyone who names the Name of Jesus Christ.
TC Bradley, welcome to the NTEB False Teacher Hall Of Fame, you’ve earned it, a million times over.
